Built From the Ground Up for South Florida Ground
New asphalt only lasts if what's underneath it is done right, and that matters more here than in most places. Cutler Bay sits on sandy soil with a high water table, so we build up a compacted aggregate base thick enough to stay stable through the rainy season, then grade the surface with a proper slope so water sheds off into the swale instead of pooling and softening the base from below. Skip that step and even a brand-new driveway can start failing within a few years. Miami-Dade also typically requires a base inspection before the asphalt goes down on new installations, and we build to pass it the first time.
